The accidental journalist, refugee, tourist, or the all-in-one spy?

The Free Press in Ethiopia can’t be free until the drifters, apologists and want-to-be journalists and Medias are put out of commission. It’s about time Ethiopians draw the line between the real things and those masquerading as journalist and free press to deceive the public. by Teshome Debalke The once celebrated ‘journalist’ and editor of Awramba Times, Dawit Kebede sought political asylum in the USA a few years back an d abandon his protection and return home to the same regime a few month ago he gave refugee status a whole different meaning.Dawit Kebede of Awramba, accidental journalist When the accidental journalist, refugee, tourist and alleged spy took a daylight flight out of Addis Ababa Airport a few years ago to seek protection from a regime known for its atrocious treatment of journalists something wasn’t kosher. But, when he return back; after enjoying the privilege and throwing jabs on his compatriots he broke his sworn journalistic duty and became a gossip peddler with an extended tourist visa. No one knows how he managed to secure a passport, exist visa and a ticket from the same regime he flee claiming to fear for his life. But, to retune to the same regime that allowed him to resume his work and interview a high ranking government official within weeks of his return not only insult journalism profession but the people that paid the price for it. It was like watching ‘Alice in the wonderland’ episode that can qualify for Grammy nomination for the best acting and directing.Mr. Dawit Kebede, Awramba Times editor Absurd as it may sound; his official excuse to return home was to be closer on the ground where the struggle for freedom from the same tyranny he fled. When that wasn’t enough, the ‘prize wining journalist’ that fled his country not only welcomed with open arms but granted him permission to interview with Shemle Kemal, the Deputy Communication Affair Minster known for his duplicity telling him the none existence of journalists in Woyane prison. No one knows how he managed to dupe the sponsoring organization – the Committee to Protect Journalist (CPJ) or whether he falsified his fear of persecution to the US Immigration Naturalization Service (INS) to be granted asylum. Nor, what he told INS the reasons he surrendering his asylum status or what passport he used to travel home. Whatever the case may be and however he managed to elude the CPJ or INS to come and go, the case is ‘under review’, according spokesperson for INS. Call him the accidental refugee, tourist, spy, or all-in-one journalist the action of Dawit Kebde of Awramba Times illustrate what is wrong with ‘journalists’ and the free press in the lawless Woyane ruled Ethiopia as well as exported in the Diaspora by cadres and apologist of the ruling regime. To his credit, Dawit Kebede was one of the celebrated Ethiopian journalists that defy Woyane tyranny and the hope of reforming the sorry state of the free press. Something must have gone wrong since his colleague and fellow journalist arrest on off-the-wall terrorism charge. Whatever it may be, his round trip escape from a political refugee-tourist journalist back to where he started– with bizarre behavior in between including, playing the ethnic card along the way seems to turn the once promising champion of the free press to join the club of gossip peddlers and apologist of the regime that have been contaminating the cyberspace for far too long. It was indeed another sad day for the free press when one more promising Ethiopian falls in the Hall-of-Shame as many did before him. Add his strange behavior and staged interview with the shameless Deputy Minster of Government Communication Affair the prize winning journalist showed borderline insanity. The important issue isn’t what one renegade ‘journalist’ or Media did or didn’t do but the state of the free press in general and the behavior of want-to-be journalist. The time has come for independent Media monitoring group to evaluate the behavior of journalist and the activities of Medias as many self respecting countries do. The fact the entire ‘free press’ in Ethiopia fallen victim of cadres Ethiopia ranks at the bottom of every measure on Free Press. Freedom House categorizes it as ‘difficult situation’, according its 2013 Press Freedom Index. For sure, the whole truth is more than what a foreign organizations’ index can tell. The fact the entire ‘free press’ in Ethiopia fallen victim of cadres of Woyane’s run lookalikes — masquerading as free presses isn’t secret. Before every lone ranger propagandist or want-to-be journalist and Media that put up a website and name it some fancy name or another raise hell, it is important to explore the State of the Free Press and what is expected of journalists or Medias. Free Press is a serious business. It is not to entertain a second rated ethnic tyranny or some interest group or another but, to get to the truth in public interest. If anyone is allergic to the truth it is wise to look for other occupation than recycling propaganda posed journalist or Free Press. Another thing many want-to-be journalists miss in their cut-and –paste exercise of recycling propaganda or gossip is they forget pampering tyranny is unforgivable crime against the people. The primary job of journalist and Free Press is to go after the ruling regime, particularly unelected tyranny like Woyane of Ethiopia. Beyond that, corporations and civic institutions or powerful individuals that have direct or indirect impact against the wellbeing and interest of the public are targets of any self-respecting journalist and free press. In that regard, there are plenty of those roaming the streets of the country. In today’s Ethiopia, pick any Media or journalist that operates within the country randomly noting resubliming Free Press or no one that does journalism work exists. The little opportunity that opened up for independent journalist to operate free press in the past was replaced by counterfeits — recycling the ruling regime’s propaganda in the name of the Free Press. Another habit these handicapped want-to-be journalists developed in a make-believe world they created is interviewing the regime’s officials and apologist with predetermined questions to desensitize the public makes them journalists or free press. Furthermore, when we look dipper in the propaganda businesses, we find the Government Communication Affair Minster (the former Ministry of Information). The Ministry that was under the leadership of Birket Simon single handedly the sole decider of the fate of journalists and the free press for 22 long years of Woyane’s rule and counting. In that capacity, the government runs Medias, including the Ethiopian News Agency, the Ethiopian Television and Radio stations distribute propaganda from top down. When it comes to spreading propaganda for international wire service Walta Information Center owned by ruling party Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) masquerading as private news agency does superb job. Further down the chain of distribution are TPLF owned shortwave Radio Fana, masquerading as ‘private’ broadcasts the same propaganda 24/7 in local languages throughout the nation. In addition, a few FM radio stations in selected cities and a dozen or so print Medias controlled by TPLF’s cadres and apologist blanket the country — saturating the Media market by TPLF’s propoganda. Therefore, At present, there is no a single independent news agency and mass Media in the entire country of Ethiopia. As depressing as it may sound in the 21century, the fact there are ‘journalists’ or Medias willing to cover up the reality — disguised as journalist and free press is where the problem of the free press begin and must end. Why the living- dead ‘journalists’ or Media do it? It is not a mystery the nature of tyranny is incompatible with the free press. If there is any self-respecting journalist that doesn’t understand that reality and participate in recycles propaganda, he or she might as well declare they are the living-dead and get it over with. There is nothing wrong recycling propaganda and fiction per say. But pretending to be independent journalist and free press isn’t only an insult to the profession but a crime against the public. The question is why would they want to fake what they are not? In another words, why would ‘journalists’ sugarcoat propaganda or fiction and want to pass it as truth? The answer for above question would sort out the bottom feeders from the real thing in the journey to freedom and democracy from tyranny. Therefore, unlike many believe the enemy of freedom and democracy isn’t tyranny alone but the appologist of tyranny, particularly the living dead journalist running Medias masquerading as free press. What can be done about journalists and Medias that recycle propaganda? First, it isn’t an easy work to recycle propaganda as truth. It requires reducing oneself to the bottom of the pits to sort out rubbish and present it as kosher. It also takes a psychological make up to believe such corruption is a worthwhile venture. Therefore, people that do it often feel ashamed of themselves to conceal their identity. If they come out in public they always have to put on an act at all times. Continuous public exposure for their misbehaviors is a known remedy to put them out of their miserable existnace. The ESAT Factor The ‘clash of civilization’ between tyranny and democracy begins and ends with the Free Press like ESAT. Those that don’t understand ESAT aren’t prepared for the democratic struggle or are part of tyranny’s network against the people’s interest. Therefore, undermining the Free Press like ESAT is misplaced and comes from the usual suspects. The establishment of ESAT, the first independent public Mass-Media in the history of Ethiopia changed the landscape of Free Press and the behavior of journalist as we know it. ESAT not only blew wide-open the hiding places of tyranny and Medias; masquerading as the free press but set the standard of how the Ethiopian Free Press should function and how independent journalists should behave — underlining public interest comes first than anything else. Unlike some wanted us to believe, ESAT is an institution not an individual journalist, editor or manager. Like everything first expectation is high and criticism is plenty. But, institution building takes time, resources and trial-and-error to get it right in changing old mindsets and beliefs of expectations of the importance of public interest over individuals and groups interest. What is the public interest? Often we miss the forest for the tree when we argue the public interest verses individuals or groups interest. Unfortunately, the survival of tyranny depends on it. Institution like ESAT is a public institution. Therefore, whether we like it or not we have to respect and support the public’s right to know about everything. Public interest can’t and should not be secondary to individual and groups’ interest period. The role of ESAT is to fulfill the public right to know what the ruling tyranny or anyone else that compromise or conspire against the public. Therefore, anyone that split hair to undermine ESAT is either ignorant of what a free press is all about or no less tyrannical than the ruling Woyane regime itself. Thus, instead of making too much noise over minor errors ESAT may or mayn’t make, we should argue over what else the public need to know about the ruling regime and other interest groups that are working against the public interest behind the people’s back. What we need is not arguing over ESAT but more public institutions like ESAT that defend the right of the public in many social, political and economic rights from all forms of abuse of the public interests. The rest of the side shows aren’t in the public interest and don’t help to bring about the people’s government sooner than later. As the struggle to rid of the ethnic tyranny goes on, it is important to be reminded the public interest is the driving force of the struggle noting more or less. As I said before, ESAT is the best thing that happened to Ethiopians since the Adwa victory. Anyone or group that can’t see that reality must have other agenda or don’t understand the public interest from self-interest. That said, there are many things I can suggest to improve ESAT. But, talk is cheap, and when I am ready to back up my talk with the resources needed to do it I will say so. I suggest every Ethiopian should do the same. For those that hate ESAT, including the Woyane regime and its apologists, I can only say whatever your alternative may be it wouldn’t worth a penny on a dollar. Recycling rubbish may buy you time but it will stink you out of existence, save yourself.

ትግሉ የሁሉንም ተሳትፎ የሚጠይቅበት ወሳኝ ምእራፍ ላይ ደርሷል

ራሱን የብሄረ አማራ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ንቅናቄ (ብአዴን) ብሎ የሚጠራው ድርጅት በከፍተኛ የፖለቲካ ኪሳራ ውስጥ ገብቷል። የህወሃትን ዙፋን ከመጠበቅ ባለፈ ምንም ሚና የሌላቸው የብአዴን አመራሮች ያለፉትን ሶስት ወራት በተለያዩ መንገዶች የድርጅቱን አባሎች ሲገመግም ከርመዋል። በግምገማዎች ላይ እንደተረጋገጠው ብአዴን የህወሀትን ዙፋን ሊሸከሙ የሚችሉ ወጣቶችን ኮትኩቶ ለማሳደግ አለመቻሉ ነው። በብአዴን ውስጥ ለሚታየው የውስጥ ትርምስ በድርጅቱ ውስጥ የሚገኙ የግንቦት7 አባላትና ደጋፊዎች እየተጫወቱት ያለው ሚና በሌሎች ድርጅቶች ውስጥ ላሉ የንቅናቄው አባላት ጥሩ ትምህርት የሚሰጥ ነው። የንቅናቄው አባሎችና ደጋፊዎች በድርጅቱ ውስጥ የታቀፉ ወጣቶችን የፖለቲካ ግንዛቤ ከማሳደግ ጀምሮ ፣ የንቅናቄውን መረብ እስከ ወረዳዎች በመዘርጋት ከፍተኛ ሚና በመጫወት ላይ ናቸው። ሰሞኑን በገሀድ በየግምገማዎች ላይ ሲነገር እንደነበረው ብአዴን እወክለዋለሁ ከሚለው የአማራ ህዝብ ሙሉ በሙሉ ተነጥሎ በአየር ላይ የተነሳፈፈ ድርጅት ሆኗል። ይህን እውነታ ዘግይተው የተረዱት የብአዴን ዙፋን ጠባቂ አመራሮች የሚይዙትን የሚጨብጡትን በማጣት የተለያዩ ውሳኔዎችን እያሳለፉ ነው። ታማኝ የሚሉዋቸውን ካድሬዎች በየወረዳዎች በመላክ በግንቦት7 የሚጠረጠሩትን ወይም የግንቦት7 አባሎች ናቸው ተብለው ከሚገመቱ ሰዎች ጋር በቀጥታም ሆነ በተዘዋዋሪ መንገድ ግንኙነት አላቸው ተብሎ የሚታሰቡትን ሰዎች በመያዝና በማሰቃየት ሌላው ወጣት ንቅናቄውን እንዳይቀላቀል ለማድረግ እቅድ ነድፈው ለመንቀሳቀስ አስበዋል። እንዲሁም አንድ ለአምስት የተባለውን አደረጃጀት በመስሪያ ቤቶች፣ በቤተሰብ፣ በትምህርት ቤቶችና በተለያዩ ተቋማት ላይ በስፋት በማውረድ፣ የሰውን የእለት ተእለት እንቅስቃሴ ለመቆጣጠር አልመዋል። ወጣቱ አካባቢውን እየለቀቀ ግንቦት7ን ለመቀላቀል የሚያደርገውን እንቅስቃሴ የአካባቢ ፖሊሶችንና የድንበር ጠባቂዎችን በማጠናከር ለመቆጣጠር ውሳኔ አሳልፈዋል። በድርጅቱ ውስጥ የግንቦት7 ደጋፊዎች ናቸው ተብለው የሚጠረጠሩትን ወይም ዝንባሌ አላቸው የሚባሉትን ሁሉ ነቅሶ በማውጣት ለብአዴን ነፍስ ለመዝራት ሙከራ እየተደረገ ነው። እነዚህን ውሳኔዎች ያስፈጽማሉ የተባሉ በጭካኔያቸው ፣ በጎጠኝነታቸውና በንቅዘታቸው የሚታወቁትን የእነሱ ታማኝ ካድሬዎችን ወደ ፊት ለማምጣት በማሰብ ሰሞኑን ሹም ሽር አድርገዋል። ጉልቻ ቢቀያየር ወጥ አያጣፍጥም እንደሚባለው የሰዎች መለዋወጥ የብአዴንን ህልውና ከክስመት የሚታደገው አይሆንም። ለመሆኑ ብአዴን የህወሀትን ዙፋን ከመጠበቅ በስተቀር ባለፉት 22 አመታት እወክለዋለሁ ለሚለው ህዝብ ምን ሰራ? ብአዴን ባለፉት 22 ዓመታት ከሰራቸው አሳፋሪ ስራዎች መካከል ሰፊው የአገራችን መሬት ለሱዳን ተላልፎ ሲሰጥ የስምምነት ፊርማውን ማስቀመጡ ነው። ከዚህ በተጨማሪ እወክለዋለሁ የሚለው የአማራ ህዝብ ከቦታ ቦታ ሲፈናቀል፣ ለአመታት ህዝቡ በኤድስና በወባ እንደቅጠል ሲረግፍ ፣ ወጣቱ ስራ አጥቶ በአደገኛ እጾች ደንዝዞና ተስፋ ቆርጦ የወጣትነት እድሜውን በከንቱ ሲያሳልፍ ብአዴን ዞር ብሎ ለማየት ፈቃደኛ አልሆነም። የብአዴን ዙፋን ጠባቂነት የሰለቻቸው የድርጅቱ አባላት በተለያዩ ጊዜያት የውስጥ ትግል ሲያደርጉ ቆይተዋል። ብዙዎች በህወሀትና በተላለኪው ብአዴን የጸጥታ ሀይሎች ተገድለዋል፣ አንዳንዶች ድርጀቱን ለቀው ወጥተዋል፣ አንዳንዶች አሁንም በእስር ላይ ይገኛሉ። ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ በብአዴን ውስጥ ብቻ ሳይሆን በመላ አገራችን ስር ነቀል ለውጥ ለማምጣት ፈቃደኝነታቸውን አሳይተው በግንቦት7 ስር ታቅፈው በመንቀሳቀስ ላይ ያሉት ወጣት አባላት የቀድሞ አባሎች የጀመሩትን ትግል በተደራጀና ስርአት ባለው መልኩ ለማስኬድ የጀመሩት ትግል ንቅናቄው በትኩረት የሚከታተለው ነው። ይህ ትግል ተጠናክሮ በሌሎች ድርጅቶችም ተግባራዊ እንዲሆን ግንቦት7 በተለያዩ የኢህአዴግ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ ላሉ አባሎቹ ጥሪውን ያስተላልፋል። ግንቦት7 መላውን የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ከዘረኛው፣ ዘራፊውና ራዕይ አልባው የህወሀት ጎጠኛ አገዛዝ ለአንዴና ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ ለመገላገል እና በምትኩ የሁሉም የምትሆን ዲሞክራሲያዊት ኢትዮጵያን ለመገንባት የጀመረውን ትግል ከመቼውም ጊዜ በላይ አጠናክሮ ቀጥሏል። በዚህ ወሳኝ የትግል ምእራፍ ወቅት የሁሉም ኢትዮጵያዊ ተሳትፎ አስፈላጊ ነው ብሎ ንቅናቄው እንደሚያምን በተደጋጋሚ ሲገልጽ ቆይቷል። በተለይም በኢህአዴግ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ ታቅፈው በመንቀሳቀስ ላይ ያሉ እውነተኛ የስርአት ለውጥ እንዲመጣ የሚፈልጉ ሀይሎች የብአዴን ወጣት የግንቦት7 አባላት እያሳዩት ካሉት እንቅስቃሴ ልምድ በመውሰድ በውስጥ የሚያደርጉትን ትግል አጠንክረው እንዲገፉበት ንቅናቄያችን ጥሪውን ያቀርባል። ድል ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ!!

ሰማያዊ ፓርቲ በአስቸኳይ የግንፍሌውን ጽ/ቤት እንዲለቅ ትእዛዝ ተሰጠው

በደም የተገነባ ተቋም ፣ የኢትዮጵያ አየር ኃይል

ግንቦት 83/91 ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ሰማይ ክፉኛ በሃዘን ሲመታ ፣ ደመናው ሲጠለሽ ፤ ወንዞች መደፈራረስ ሲጀምሩ ፤ የሰውን ልብ ባር ባር ሲለው …….. የክፉው ቀን ጅማሮ ፣ የውርደት ሃሌታ ፣ የሃገር አልባነት ስሜትና የዜግነት ውርደት ደጃፍ ላይ መውደቃችን እውነት ነበር ። ውርስ ከአባት ወደ ልጅ ሊተላለፍ ካልቻለ ፤ አባት የጀመረውን ልጅ ካልቋጨው ፤ አዲስ መንግስት ሲቀየር የድሮውን በጐ ነገር ሁሉ ብትንትኑን አውጥቶ ካጠፋ ፤ የትውልድ ቅብብሎሽ ገደል ገባ ማለት አይደል ? እናም በአገሬ ምድር ላይ የእርግማን ዘመን ያኔ “ በ1991 “ “ ሀ “ ብሎ ጀመረ ። ሌባው ከሳሽ … ቀማኛው ፈራጅ የሆነበት ፤ አባት ተቀምጦ ልጅ የሁሉ ነገር አዛዥ ሲሆን ፤ አህያ ወደ ሊጥ … ውሻም ወደ ግጦሽ ከተሰማራ …. እነሆ ዘመነ ብልሹ ላይ መድረሱን ያልተረዳ ካለ … እሱ ባይፈጠር …. እናቱ ሆድ ውስጥ ውሃ ሆኖ ቢቀር ይሻለው ነበር ። አገር ሲገነጠል ዝምታ ፤ ንብረት ከመሃል አገር ተግዞ ሲያልቅ ዝምታ ፤ ገዳማት ሲታረሱ ፣ ቤተ ክርስቲያናት ሲዘረፉና ታቦታት በየገበያው ሲቸበቸቡ ዝምታ ፤ ደን ሆን ተብሎ በሰደድ እሳት እንዲወድም ሲደረግ ዝምታ ፤ ግዙፉ የአገር መከላከያ ኃይል እንደተረት አይናችን ስር ሲበተን ዝምታ …….. የምንወደው ዝነኛው የአየር ኃይላችንም አብሮ ተደርምሶ እንዳልነበረ ሲሆን ዝምታ ነገሰ ። የሚቆጭ ፤ የሚመክር ፤ የሚቆጣና ሃይ የሚል ወንድ ጠፋ ። የአድዋና የማይጨው አርበኞቻችን የክብር ሃውልቶች ሲፈርሱም ዝምታ ፣ የጦር ካምፖቻችንም ታሪካዊ ስያሜ በማን አለብኝነት ለጐጠኞች ስያሜ ሲውልም ዝምታ ነገሰ ። ዛሬ ደግሞ ከአዲስ አበባ ዋሺንግተን በሚመላለሱና ከዘመነኞቹ ጊዚያዊ የይሁኝት ፈገግታ በተቸራቸው የኛና የኔ ቢጤዎች አማካኝነት የቬተራን አሶሴሽን እናቋቁማለን ፤ የአየር ኃይሉንም ታሪክ እንፅፋለንና ለዕርዳታ እጃችሁን ዘርጉ የምትል የኢሜል መልዕክት ደርሳን በትዝብት ተደምመናል ። እስኪ ከበጐ መንፈስ የመነጨ ነው ብለን እንመን ። ግን ሥጋት አለን ! የአየር ኃይላችንን ታሪክ ለትውልድ ዘግቦ ማስቀመጥ ምንኛ የተቀደሰ ዓላማ ነው ! የአቭዬሽን ቬተራን ማህበርን ማቋቋምስ እንዴት ትልቅ ራዕይ አለው ? ነገር ግን የአንድ መንደር ልጆችን ዓላማ አድርጐ በጐጠኝነት ማማ ላይ እየተንጠለጠለ እኛ እና እነሱ ፤ የቀድሞውና አዲሱ ፤ ዲሞክራቲኩና የአንድነት አርበኛ እያለ ሊለያየንና ሊከፋፍለን ሌት ተቀን የሚተጋው ጐጠኛና ሽፍታ መንግስት የሚገነባውን ከእውነተኛው አየር ኃይል በቅጡ መለያየት ያስፈልጋል ። ውሃና ዘይትን ለመቀላቀል በማምሺያ እድሜ መባጀት ጉልበት ማባከን እንዳይሆን ! የነፃነት አርበኛው ጀ/ል ተጫነ መስፍንና የሽፍቶቹ ጀ/ል አበበ ተ/ሃይማኖት (ጆቤ) በምን ተዓምር ለአንድ ዓላማ ሊሰለፉ ይችላሉ ? በምንስ ሂሳብ የህ.ው.ሃ.ቱ. አበበ ተ/ኃይማኖት (ጆቤ) የቬተራን አሶሴሽን መስራች ሆኖ በሸራተን አዲስ ይደግሳል ? እነዚህ ሁለት ፍጥረታት ውሃና ዘይት ናቸው ። በዓላማም በራዕም አንድ አይደሉም ….. አሳዳጅና ተሳዳጅ ! ወንጀለኛና ወንጃይ … አርበኛና ባንዳ .. ውሃና ዘይት ናቸው ። ሊዋሃዱ አይችሉም ። የእኛው አየር ኃይል በጅምላ ጨፍጫፊና ወንጀለኛ ተብሎ እንደ ጉም በተበተነበት ዘመን ላይ ተቆሞ ….. ለአገር የደሙ ከያሉበት ታድነው በውርደት በየማጐሪያው ተወርውረው ልባቸው ተሰብሮና ጥሪት አልባ ሆነው በሰው እጅ ላይ እንዲወድቁ በተበየነበት ዘመን ላይ ፤ ዛሬ ከሲሶው በላይ እውነተኛው አርበኛ አገር አልባ ሆኖና ተዋርዶ አልጋ ላይ እየዋለ ያለ ደጋፊና አጋዥ ቀና ማለት ባቃተው ሰዓት ላይ የቬተራን አሶሴሽን እያቋቋምን ነው ሲሉንና ግባታውን በገንዘብ እንድንደግፈው ስንጠየቅ እውን ለእውነተኛው የአየር አርበኛ አገልግሎት እንዲመስለን ይሆን ? በእርግጥ ጥቂቶች ደም የተገበረበትን አርበኝነታቸውን ሳይሆን የሽንፈት ታሪካቸውን አሜን ብለው በመቀበል በውርደት በጅምላ የተለጠፈብንን የጨፍጫፊነት ማንነት ፤ በተጨማሪም ለአገር በመሞታችንና ደማቸንን በማፍሰሳችን ምክንያት እንደ ተራ ነፍሰ ገዳይ የሞትና የእድሜ ልክ ፍርደኞች መሆናችንንና/መሆናቸውን ዘንግተው “ ማምሻም እድሜ ነው “ በሚል የመሰንበት ጉጉት በድለላ እያግባቡን ማየታችን ከላይ በበጐ መንፈስ ተነሳስተው ነው የሚለውን አቋማችንን እየሸረሸረብን ተቸገርን ። ለመሆኑ በማን አየር ኃይል ….. በነማንስ ደም ይቀለዳል ? የእነ ሚሽካ ባቢቼቭ አየር ኃይል …. የእነ ባህሩ ካባ አየር ኃይል …. የእነ ጀነራል አበራ ወ/ማሪያም …. የእነ ጀነራል አሰፋ አየነ … የእነ ጀነራል አሰፋ ገ/እግዚ …. የነ ጀነራል ታዬ ጥላሁን ….. አየር ኃይል እንዴት ሆኖ ከዚህኛው ዘመን ጋር ይዋሃዳል ? እነ ጀ/ል ለገሰ ተፈራ ፣ ኰ/ል በዛብህ ጴጥሮስ ፣ ኰ/ል ታደለ አለሙ ፣ ኰ/ል ትርሲት ፣ ኰ/ል ወርቁ ፣ ሻ/ል ጥላሁን በዛብህ ፣ መ/አ አባይነህ ኃይሉ ፣ መ/አ ደመላሽ መኰንን የመሳሰሉት በምርኰና በእስር መስዋዕትነት የከፈሉበት ፤ የነ መርዕድ ዳጨው ደም …. የነ አማኑኤል አምደ ሚካኤል …. የነ ጥላሁን ኃይሉ ፤ የነ ለዊ ደሬሳ …. የነ መንግስት ዓለሙ … የእነ ሊ/ካዴት ይኩኖ ታደሰ ጨቅላና አድገው ያልጨረሱ ልጆች ደም ፤ የነ ተስፋዬ ብ/ሥላሴ …. የነ ማ/ቴክ ደገፋ ሆራ …. የነ ኰ/ል ጥላሁን ቦጋለ ….. የነ ሰለሞን መክብብ …. የነ አብረሃም ስንቄ ደም ላይ እንዴት ዳንኪራ ይጨፈራል ? እነ ጀ/ል ፋንታ በላይ …. ጀ/ል አመሃ ደስታ …. ጀ/ል ሰለሞን በጋሻው …. ጀ/ል ተስፉ ደስታ … ጀ/ል ንጉሴ ዘርጋው … ጀ/ል ገናናው መንግስቱ …… እንዲህ ደማቸው ደመ ከልብ ይሁን ? ለአፍታ ቀና ብለው ቢያዩስ ምንኛ በባልንጀራቸው ያፍሩ ይሆን ! ዘመናቸውን ሙሉ ለአገራቸው የአየር ክልል መከበር ጨርቄን ማቄን ሳይሉ …… ንብረት ማፍራት …. ሃብት ማካበት …. ሚስት ማግባትና የአብራካቸውን ፍሬ ለማየት ሳይጓጉ እድሜያቸውን የጨረሱ የአየር ኃይሉ ጌጦችና የአገር አለኝታዎች እንደ ወሮበላ ማጅራት መቺ የሞትና የእድሜ ልክ ፍርደኛ በተሆነባት አገር ላይ እንዴት አይነቱ የአየር ኃይል የአቪየሽን ቬተራን አሶሴሽን ይገነባል ? እነ ኰ/ል ታከለ አበበ ፣ ሻ/ቃ አለማየሁ እሳቱ ፣ ሻ/ቃ ከበደ ጫኬ ፣ በላይነህ ተገኝ ፤ ደበበ ሞላ …. ደሳለኝ ስሜነህ … …. ወዘተ በጉልበት ከአገር ተሰደው በበረሃ ላይ ያለ አልቃሽና ቀባሪ ነፍሳቸውን እንዲሰጡ ላደረገ ሽፍታ ፤ እነ ሻ/ል ፍሰሃ መለስን በእስር ቤት ለገደለ ወንበዴ እንዴት ብለን ክብራችንን ዝቅ አናደርጋለን ? እነ ኰ/ል ብርሃነ መስቀል ፤ ኰ/ል ሰለሞን ከበደ ፤ ኰ/ል ግርማ አስፋው ፤ ሻ/ል ክፍሌ ውቤ ከእድሜያቸው ከሩብ በላይ በእስር የገበሩበት ምክንያት ምን ይሆን ? ዘንግተነውስ ይሆን ? እነ ማ/ቴክ ሽብሩን .. እነ ማ/ቴክ ፀጋዬ ሁሉቃን … እነ ማ/ቴክ ግርማ ሰቦቃንና የመሳሰሉትን በአጠቃላይ አፕሬንቲሱን ፣ ኤርሜኑን ፣ ቴክኒሻኑን ፣ የአየር ፖሊሱን ፣ በራሪውን ፣ መኰንኑን ፣ ባሌ ላላ ማዕረግተኛውን እንደ አሮጌ ቁና ሜዳ ላይ በትኖ በስተ እርጅና የሰው እጅ እንዲያዩ የተደረጉበትን እንደ ጨዋታ ቆጥረነው ይሆን ? እነ ኰ/ል ብርሃኑ ከበደን ፤ ኰ/ል ብርሃኑ ውብነህ ፤ ኰ/ል ጣሰው ወዳጄነህን ….. ኰ/ል ጌታቸው መንገሻን …. ኰ/ል መንገሻ ሁንዴን …. ኰ/ል የሺጥላ መርሻን ….. ኰ/ል ይልቃልን … አለማየሁ አጐናፍርን …. አለማየሁ ኃይሌን …. ስንታየሁ አሽኔን … መስፍን መንግስቴን ….. በኃይሌ ደግፌን … ጂልቻ ዱራን …. ኰ/ል ነብዩን …. አሰፋ ተገኝን ፤ አቦነህ ነጋሽን … ዳዊት ወንዲፍራውን ፤ መስፍን ግርማን ……. በአጠቃላይ ስማቸው ያልተዘረዘሩትን የተዋጊውን ፣ የትራንስፖርትና የሄሊኮፕተር ስኳሮኖች በራሪና የቴክኒክ ባለሙያ ሲቪል ሰራተኞችን ሁሉ አገር አልባ አድርጐ … እንዴትስ አይነት የአቪዬሽ ቬተራን ማህበር ሊመሰረት ይችላል ? ጀነራል ተጫኔ መስፍን ደም ገብረው በአቀኑት አየር ኃይል ውስጥ አበበ ተ/ኃይማኖት አንዳችም የአየር ኃይል ትምህርትና ዕውቀት ሳይኖረው የቬተራኖቹ አየር ኃይል አዛዥ ሆኖ በራሪ ተማሪዎችን ሲሸልም በአፍሪካ ውስጥ በበረራ ሰዓታቸው ተወዳዳሪ የሌላቸው የተዋጊ አውሮፕላን በራሪና ኢትዮጵያን በተለያየ ጊዜ የተቃጣባትን ወረራና ጥቃት በጀግንነት የመከቱ እውነተኛ የኢትዮጵያ ልጅ ጀነራል ተጫነ መስፍን በዚህ አይነት በአሳላፊነት መታየታቸው ምን ያክል አገር አልባ እንደሆንን አያሳይ ይሆን ? እውን ታዲያ ይሄ የኢትዮጵያ አየር ኃይል ነው ? እንደዚህ አይነት አገር የማታከብረው ቬተራንስ የት አገር ነው ያለው ? ጀነራል ተጫኔም በዚህ አይነቱ ሁኔታ እራሳቸውን ለማሳነስ ባይፈቅዱ እንዴት ጥሩ ነበር ? እነ ጀነራል መስፍን … ጀነራል ተሻለ … ኰ/ል ጥላሁን ነብሮን የመሳሰሉት ባለ ወርቅዬ ታሪክ ባለቤቶች እንደ አገር አልባና ሁለተኛ ዜጋ ተገልለውና ተጥለው ያለ ፎቶ ግራፍ ይኖሩ የለ ? በእርግጥ በዚህ ዘመን ጀ/ል ተጫነ ከአቻዎቻቸው በተለየ ሁኔታ ከነ ሙሉ ክብራቸውና ጥቅማቸው በአገራቸው በቬተራን ማዕረግ እየኖሩ ያሉ ብቸኛ ሰው ናቸው ። ቀደም ሲልም እንደ ጀ/ል ተጫኔ ሁሉ ጀ/ል ሰለሞን በየነ በዚሁ በተንቆጠቆጠው ማማ ላይ ተሰቅለው እንዳሉ እናውቃለን ፤ ይህ እንግዲህ የልደታ አየር ምድብ አዛዥ ተደርጐ ተሹሞ የነበረውን ሻለቃ ተስፋዬ ተገኝን ሳንዘነጋ ፣ የሚሊታሪ አታቼውንና ጀ/ሉን ኃይለ ሥላሴ ገብሩንም ማ/ቴክ ረዳዕይና ማ/ቴክ ክንድያን እንዲሁም ካላዩ አፅበሃንም በማሰብ ነው …….. ። በእርግጥ አድሎው አይን ያወጣ ቢሆንም ከወደ ኰረም ፣ አዲግራትና አድዋ የመወለድ ጣጣ ነው እያልን ቆይተናእነሆ ምክር እንለግሳለን ……. የአየር ኃይላችንን ታሪክ መፃፉን እናበረታታለን ። ይሁን እንጂ ……. ዛሬ የሚፃፍ ካለ … አየር ኃይሉ እንዴት እንደተመሰረተ ብቻ ሳይሆን እንዴትም እንደፈረሰ ፤ ለአገር የደሙና የሞቱ እንዴት እንደወንጀለኛ በየማጐሪያው እንደተጋዙ … ህብረ ብሄሩ የኢትዮጵያ አየር ኃይል እንዴት ወደ አንድ ዘር የሽፍቶች ስብስብነት እንደተቀየረ የሚተርክ ካልሆነ …. ጀ/ል ተጫነ መስፍን ፣ ኰ/ል አስፋው አየልኝንና የመሳሰሉትን የትውልድም የታሪክም ተወቃሽ ፤ የአገርም ክህደት እንዳይሆን ይታሰብበት ። የአቭዬሽን ቬተራን አሶሴሽንም ከመመስረቱ በፊት አርበኛውን ከጐጠኛው መለየት ፤ እውነተኞቹን የአየር አርበኞችና ቬተራኖች ከብቀላ ፍርደኝነታቸው ነፃ ማድረግና ዝነኛውን አየር ኃይል በጅምላ ከተለጠፈበት የጨፍጫፊነት ስያሜ እንድናላቅቅ የየበኩላችንን ጥረት ማድረግ ይገባናል ። ጨረስን ። ኢትዮጵያን እግዚአብሄር ይባርክ ። ትብብር ለመልሶ ማቋቋም የቀድሞው የኢትዮጵያ አየር ኃይል

የአቦይ ስብሀት ነገር!

ከአሁን በፊት በዚሁ ርዕስ ፅሁፍ እንደፃፍኩ አስታውሳለሁ . አጋጣሚ ሆኖ ዛሬም ይህን ፅሁፍ ለመፃፍ በምነሳበት ወቅት ከዚሁ ርዕስ ሌላ ሀሳቤን በአንድነት ጭምቅ አድርጎ ሊገልፅልኝ የሚችል ርዕስ ሊመጣልኝ ስላልቻለ እንደገና በዚሁ ርዕስ መጠቀሙን ወደድኩ አባይ ስብሀት በልበወለድ ዓለም የተፈጠሩ ሰው *ቢሆኑ ኖሮ እጅግ በጣም አጨቃቃጪ , አነጋጋሪና የተለየ ስብዕና ያላቸው ገፀ ባህርይ ሆነው የተቀረፁ እጅግ በጣም የተዋጣለት ገፀ ባህርይ ይሆኑ ነበር . የሚገርመው ነገር በእውኑ ዓለም ያሉ ሰው ሆኖው ሳለ እንዲህ ዐይነት አነጋጋረና ግራ አጋቢ የሆነ ገፀ ባህርይ ያላችው ሰው መሆናቸው ነው .:: ለዚህ ሳይሆን አይቀርም ብዙውን ጊዜ በሚናገሩት ነገር ሁሉ ትኩረት ሳቢ ሆነው የምናገኛቸው . ለዛሬ ባለፈው በህዳር 17 ቀን 2006 ዓ.ም. በአዲስ አባባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የጋዜጠኝነትና ኮሙኒኬሽን ዲፓርትመንት ተጋብዘው በተናገሩት ላይ ይሆናል ትኩረት የማደርግው . አቦይ ስብሀት በዩኒርሰቲው ተገኝተው ፖለቲካዊ ሀሳባቸውን ለተማሪዎች እንደሚያካፍሉ ዜናውን እንደሰማሁ ደግሞ ምን ሊሉ ይሆን ብዬ ነበር ከተወሰኑ ጓደኞቼ ጋር በመሆን እዚያ የተገኘሁት . እኔም የዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪ መሆኔ ጠቀመኝና የተማሪነት መታወቂያን አሳይቼ ወደ አዳራሹ ዘለኩ . አባይ ስብሀት ሙሉ ለሙሉ ጥቁር የሆነ ሱፍ ለብሰው , ከፊት ለፊት በተደረደሩ መደዳ ወንበሮች ላይ ተሰይመዋል . ከዚያ ድፎ ዳቦ እንዲቆርሱ ተደረገና ወደ ዝግጅቱ , ዋናው ጉዳይ ተገባ . በአንድ የጋዜጠኝነትና ኮሙኒኬሽን ዲፓርትመንት ተማሪ ጥያቄ አቅራቢነት አቦይ ስብሀት ለጥያቄዎቹ ሰፋ ያለ መልስ መስጠት ጀመሩ . ለዛሬ ትኩረቴን እጅግ ከሳቡኝና ግርምት ከፈጠሩብኝ የአቦይ ስብሀት ንግግሮች የተወሰኑትን እዚህ ላይ እያነሳሁ ሀሳብ እሰጥባቸዋለሁ :: 1, . ሀገር ማለት አቦይ ስብሀት " ሀገር ማለት ህገ መንግስቱ ነው ; . ሌላ ነገር አይደለም " . የሚል ነገር ተናግሯል ይሄ ለእኔ ምን ማለት እንደሆነ ግለፀው ብባል ; . እንዲህ በሌላ ምሳሌ ላስቀምጠው እችላለሁ ትዳር ምንድነው ለሚለው ጥያቄ " . ትዳር ማለት የጋብቻ ሰርቴፍኬት ማለት ነው ብሎ የመመለስ ያህል ነው . ይሄ አነጋገር ስሜት ሊሰጥ ይችላል ? ! ትዳርን ትዳር የሚያድርገው የጋብቻ ሰርቴፍኬት አይደለም ; የጋብቻ ሰርቴፍኬት ትዳሩን ህጋዊ ያደርገው እንደሆነ እንጂ ራሱ ትዳር ሊሆን የሚችል ነገር አይደለም ሀገርም እንደዚያ ነው ; . ያለ ህገ መንግስት ሀገር ሊኖር ይችላል ; ሀገር ከሌለ ግን ህግ መንግስት የሚባል ነገር አይኖርም ህገ መንግስት የተፈጠረው በጣም ትናንት በሚባል ጊዜ ሲሆን ; ሀገሮች የተፈረጡትና የኖሩት ግን ለብዙ ሺህ ዓመታት ነው ለምሳሌ ; . የእኛ ሀገር ታሪክ ብንወስድ እንኳ የሀገሪቷ ታሪክ ከሶስት ሺህ ዓመት በላይ ሲሆን በህገ መንግስት ስም መተዳዳር የጀመርንበት ጊዜ ሲታይ ደግሞ አንድ መቶ ዓመትም አልሞላንም . ለነገሩ በሀገራችን በጠመንጃ ጉልበት እንጂ በአግባቡ በህገ መንግስት የሚያስተዳድረን መንግስት እስከዛሬ አላገኘንም ወይም አልፈጠርንም . 2 . ስለኤርትራውያን አቦይ ስብሀት ስለኤርትራውያን ሲናገሩ " ኤርትራውያን ከኢትዮጵያውያን በላይ ነው ኢትዮጵያዊነትን በጣም ይፈልጋሉ ; በአንፃሩ ኢትዮጵያውያን የሚፈልጉት የኤርትራ መሬት ነው ህዝቡ አይደለም . አሰብ ቀይ ምናምን ይላሉ . ​​" ብለው እርፍ ! ምንም እንኳ ንግግሩ እጅግ በጣም የሚገርም ቢሆንም የአርትራውያንን ኢትዮጵያዊነት ከአቦይ ስብሀት መስማቴ ጥሩ ለውጥ ነው እላለሁ ; ኤርትራውያን ከእኛ በላይ , ከኢትዮጵያውያን በላይ ኢትዮጵያዊነትን ይሰማቸዋል የሚለውን ግን ቀልድ ነው ሊሆን የሚችለው . ሲጀመር እንዲህ ብሎ ለመናገር በመጀመርያ ህዝቡ ስለዚህ ጉዳይ ያለው አቋም ተጠንቶ ; በደንብ በተጠናቀረ መረጃ ተደግፎ ነው መቅረብ የነበረበት ከሁሉም በላይ እጅግ አድርጎ የሚያሳዝነው ደግሞ ኢትዮጵያውያን የኤርትራን መሬት እንጂ ህዝቡ አይፈልጉትም መባሉ ነው . እኔ የማውቀው በተቃራኒው ነው ; የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ለኤርትራውያን ጥልቅ የሆነ ፍቅር እንዳለው ነው ; አሁን ይሄ ሁሉ ነገር ከተፈጠረ በኋላ እንኳ እንደ ራሱ ህዝብ እንደወንድም ህዝብ እንጂ እንደ ጎሮቤት ህዝብ ወይም እንደባዕድ ህዝብ የሚያያቸው አይደለም አቦይ ስብሀት የኤርትራ እና የኢትዮጵያ ህዝቦች የጊዜ ጉዳይ ካልሆነ በስተቀር ነገሮች እየሰከኑ ሲሄዱ ለምሳሌ በኤርትራ ያለውን ስርዓት ሲቀየር በሆኑ ቅርፅ ተባብረው የፖለቲካና የኢኮኖሚ ግንኙነታውን ማጠናከር የሚችሉበት እንድል እንዳለ ; በፌዴሬሽንም በኮንፌደረሽንም በሌላም መልኩ የነበራቸውን አንድነት መመለስ የሚችሉበት ሁኔታ ይፈጠራል ብለው እንደሚያምኑ የተናገሩት በዚያን ቀን ከተናገሯቸው አዎንታዊ ንግግሮች አንዱ ነበር . ስለ ኤርትራው ፕሬዚደንት ሲናገሩ ኢሳይያስ የሚፈልገው አጀብና እዩኝ እዩኝ ማለት እንጂ ሌላ ነገር አይደለም ብሏል ; . እርሱ ገንዘብም አይፈልግም ብሏል የምን ገንዘብ እንደሆነ ግልፅ ባያደርጉትም የእርዳታ ገንዘብ ማለታቸው ሊሆን እንደሚችል መገመት የሚቻል ነው ሀበሻ አይደሉ ; . እኛ እና እርሱ ልዩነታን እዚህ ላይ ነው ማለታቸው መሆን አለበት በቅኔ ! ይልቅ የሰሞኑ አንዱ ገጠመኝ ልንገራችሁ አንድ ኤርትራዊ ከሳውዲ አረቢያ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነኝ ብሎ ከኢትዮጵያውያን ጋር ተደባልቆ ኢትዮጵዊነት ተቀብለው ነው እንደዚህ ወጣት ያሉ ኤርትራውያን በነፃ ከእኛ ዜጎች ጋር ወደ ሀገራችን እያመጡ ያሉት ያስባል . ሻዕቢያ ካልላካቸው ምንም ችግር የለውም ; ኢትዮጵያም ሀገራቸው ነው ድሮም ቢሆን በሻዕቢያ ፕሮፖጋንዳ ተታልለው ነው እንገንጠል ብለው የሄዱት እንጂ የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ስለጠላቸው አልነበረም . አቦይ ስብሀት እንዳሉት እነዚህ ኤርትራውያን እየመጡ ያሉት ትክክለኛ ኢትየጵያውያን እነርሱ ናቸው ተብሎ ከሆነ ግን በማን መንግስት እየተዳደርን እንደሆነ መጠየቃችን አይወሬ ይሆናል . " እናንተ ከኤርትራውያን ያነሳችሁ ኢትዮጵያውያን ናችሁ " የሚለን መንግስት መቼውም ቢሆን ጤነኛ መንግስት ሊሆን አይችልም ; መንግስትም የመሆን እድል የለውም . 3, የቀበጡ ፖለቲከኞችና ጋዜጠኞች በእስር ላይ ስለሚገኙ ጋዜጠኞችና ፖለቲከኞች ተጠይቀው ሲመልሱ " ይሄ ስርዓት በስንት መስዋዕትነት የመጣ ስርዓት ነው ; በዚህ ላይ ሁኔታ በመጣ ስርዓት ላይ ማንንም እንዲቀብጥ ሊፈቀድለት አይገባም . መለስ በፓርላማ ስላንዳንድ ፖለቲከኞችና ጋዜጠኞች አስመልክቶ ሲናገር ጉዳት እስካላደረሱ ድረስ ወንጀለኛ መሆናቸውን እያወቅንም እንታገሳቸዋለን ሲል ሰምታችሁት ይሆናል ተሳስቷል ማንም ሰው በህገ መንግስቱ ላይ በስርዓቱ ላይ የመቅበጥ ምልክት ሲያሳይ ጊዜ ሊሰጠው አይገባም ; እርምጃ መውሰድ ያስፈልጋል :: ስለዚህ ማንም ቀበጥ በስርዓቱ ላይ እንዲጫወትበት አንፈቅድም " ብሏል . እንግዲህ በእርሳ c ው አባባል ከሄድን እነ አንዷለም አራጌ , እነ ርዕዮት ዓለሙ ; እነ ውብሸት ታዬ , እነ እስክንድር ነጋ በቅብጠት ነው የታሰሩት ማለት ነው በእስር ጉዳይ ላይ ቀብጠት አለ እንዴ . !ለዚያውም ብእኛ ሀገር ! የኖርዌይ መንግስት እንደዚያ ቢል ብዙም ላይገርም ይችላል ; ምክንያቱም የእስር ቤታቸው ሁኔታ እጅግ የሚያማልል ነው . ከእኛ አንፃር ስታየው ! በቃልቲ ለመታሰር እንዴት ነው ቅብጠት የሚሆነው . እነርሱ የታሰሩት የነፃነት የፍትህ ጥያቄ እንስተው እንጂ ቀብጠው አይመስለኝም . እኔም ይሄን ጉዳይ አንስቼ ቅብጠት ሊሆን እኮ ነው በአቦይ ስብሀት አተያይ ! ጠያቂው በመቀጠል " እነዚህ የታሰሩት ጋዜጦኞች በአንድ በእኩል ወንጀለኛ ተብለው ታስሯል በሌላ በእኩል የሀሳብን በነፃነት የመግለፅ ታጋዮች ተብለው በዓለም አቀፍ እየተሸለሙ ነው ይሄ ሁለቱ ነገር አይጋጭም ወይ ? " ብሎ ሲጠይቃቸው , ፈገግ ብለው ያሰራው አካል እኮ አይደለም እየሸለማቸው ያለው ! በማለት ተሳልቋል :: 4 . ስለሰማያዊ ፓርቲ " ሰማያዊ ፓርቲ የምን ፓርቲ እንደሆነ ግራ የሚገባ ነው ; የሃይማኖት ፓርቲ ይሁን የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ ይሁን አይታወቅም " አሉ .በመቀጠል ደግሞ " ሰማያዊ ፓርቲ ሙስሊም ወንድሞቻችን ሲል ሰምታችሁ ይሆናል . እነርሱ ናቸው የሞስሊሞች ወንድም የሚሆኑት ! አቤት ሙስሊሞቹ ሲጠሏቸው ብታዩ ! ወደ እኛ እየመጡ ለምን እንዚህን አታሳርፉልንም ነው እኮ የሚሉን . " በማለት ተናግሯል . ላይም መረጃ ሰብስበው ጥናት አድርገው አይደለም የተናገሩት . የተወሰኑ ሙስሊም ጓደኞቻቸው ጋር በጉዳዩ ላይ እውርተው ሊሆን ይችላል ; ነገር ግን በጣት የሚቆጠሩ ሙስሊሞች በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ያላቸውን ሀሳብ ማወቅና በብዙ ሚሊዮን የሚገመቱ ሙስሊሞች ለሰማያዊ ያላቸውን አመለካከት ማወቅ የተለያየ ነገር ነው . 5 . ስለሀብት ክፍፍል እና ስለኢህአዴግ ርዕዮተ ዓለም ስለሀብት ክፍፍል ሲናገሩ ደግሞ " በአለም አንደኛ ፍትሀዊት ሀገር ዶብብ ኮርያ ስትሆን ; ኢትዮጵያ ደግሞ ሁለተኛ ናት ; አሜሪካ ደግሞ የመጨረሻዋ ነች አሉ እንግዲህ አሜረካን በደንብ የምታውቁ መስክሩ ; ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ስላለው ሁኔታ እንኳ በቅርብ እናውቀዋለን ;ምስክር መጥራት የሚያስፈልገን ነገር አይደለም አቦይ ስብሀት ስለኢህአዴግ ርዕዮተ ዓለም ሲናገሩ ; . " ኢህአዴግ ቀኝ ዘምም ግራ ዘመምም አይደለም ; ' sentrums ' ነው ' pragmatisk ' ነው " . አሉ አቶ ልደቱ አያሌው " ሶስተኛ አማራጭ " የሚሉትም ይሄ " sentrums " የሚባለውን በሌበራል ዴሞክራሲ ውስጥ የሚመደብ ርዕዮተ ዓለም ነው . ማንም ሰው ወይም ፓርቲ በቀኝ አክራሪነት ወይም በግራ አክራነት ላለመመደብ በስም " sentrums " መባለን ይፈልጋል . እንደ እውነቱ ከሆነ ግን በእኛ ሀገር በትክክል " sentrums " ሊባሉ የሚችሉ ፓርቲዎች ያሉ አይመስለኝም . በፓርቲው ውስጥ ወደ ቀኝ ጥግ የመሄድ ዝንባሌ እንዳለ ሆኖ በፕሮግራም ደረጃ ወደ " sentrums " የሚጠጋ አቋም ያለው አንድነት ፓርቲ ብቻ ይመስለኛል . ሌላው ሁሉ አንድም በቀኝ , አንድም በግራ የሚመደብ ነው . የኢህአዴግ የሚጠጋ አቋም ያለው አንድነት ፓርቲ ብቻ ይመስለኛል . ሌላው ሁሉ አንድም በቀኝ , አንድም በግራ የሚመደብ ነው . የኢህአዴግ እንኳ ግራ ዘመምም ለመሆኑ ክርክር ውስጥም የሚገባ አይደለም .አቦይ ስብሀት ወደ ጫካ ሲገቡ እድሜያቸው ሰላሳ ዘጠኝ እንደነበረ ራሳቸው በዚያው መድረክ ላይ የተናገሩ ሲሆን አስራ ሰባት ዓመት በትግል 23 ዓመት ደግሞ በስልጣን የቆዩ ከመሆናቸው አንፃር አሁን የሰባ ዘጠኝ ዓመት አዛውንት ናቸው ማለት ነው . ነገር ግን አሁንም ጠንካራ እንደሆኑ ታዝቤያለሁ ; . የዓይን መነፅር እንኳ ሳያድርጉ ነው ሲንቀሳቀሱ የነበረው ነገር ግን አነጋገራቸው ሁሉም አይቶ እንዳሳለፈ ሰው ሆኖ አላገኘሁትም ; ይልቅ ገና የፖለቲካ ስሜቱ እንዳልነበረደለት ጎረምሳ ነው በትዕቢትና በማን አህሎኝነት ሲናገሩ የነበሩት . በተለይ ስለተቃዋሚዎች ሲናገሩ ያላቸውን ጥላቻ በግልፅ ያስታውቅ ነበር . ጥላቻ በዚህ ዕድሜ በጣምም ጥሩ አይደለም::

“438 Days” in Ethiopian custody – a book by Swedish Journalists By: Yusuf M Hasan (somalilandsun) Somalilandsun – The Authors of “438 DAGAR” Martin Schibbye, and Johan Persson, which is a book detailing their “438 Days” in Ethiopian custody and related experiences have now turned to exposing the ills they perceive to be ongoing in the Ogaden Region. In an exclusive interview with journalist Mohamed Farah of Ogadentoday Press the two Swedish scribes say their motivation to pursue information on the region some refer to as “Ethiopia’s Darfur” or “Africa’s Palestine” by the burning desire to bring to light inhuman activities that were known but craftily what hidden from the International Community. Describing their arrest by Ethiopian Counterinsurgency forces operating in the Ogaden region against the Ogaden National Liberation Front-ONLF that led to the 438 Days” in Custody Journalist Schibbye said that 150 soldiers who had been pursuing them for some time opened sporadic gunfire injuring him on the shoulder while colleague Johan got hit in the arm Though the two faced extreme torture especially lack of medical attention, the counter insurgency forces viewed them as hostile elements geared towards disruption of national security since they, the Swede journalists undertook their coverage under guidance of and accompanied by members of ONLF, an armed group the Ethiopian government considers rebellious thence outlawed. Below are the verbatim excerpts of the interview Ogadentoday Press: Welcome to Ogadentoday Press Martin Schibbye: Thank Very Much Ogadentoday Press: What makes you to travel into Ogaden and put yourself at risk? Martin Schibbye: Despite, many reports written about the conflicts in the Ogaden, no-one set foot in the oil-fields to report on and that drove us to try and use our legs to see with our own eyes the impacts of the Oil-Industry rather than googling to cover the story. The only conventional way into the area is to make an official visit, stage managed by the Ethiopian regime, pausing for a few hours in some well‐run hospital. These things are organised at regular intervals. At some point, you have to make a choice as a journalist. Either you produce a text in which Ethiopia claims there is peace in Ogaden, while the separatist movement, ONLF, insists there is a state of war. And you’re satisfied with that. Or you try to find out what’s true. Which of the perspectives are accurate. Either refugees were tortured by the Ethiopian army, or they weren’t. Either there is conflict in the region – or not. It shouldn’t be a matter of opinion. That is why we have to go into, so we can see with our own eyes what the consequences are of the activities of the international oil companies Ogadentoday Press: Did you have a chance to meet and interview the local Ogadenis inside Ogaden region? Martin Schibbye: No, not really, the conflict level is high and the area is militarized .We passed through an empty village that its residents fled due to the conflict. We pass abandoned huts, and meet an elderly man wandering the desert who says his village was burnt to the ground and everyone was killed. He planned to flee to Dadaab. We also make a long interview with the commander of the ONLF group that is guiding us about why they fight and their views on foreign oil companies. Because of the heavy fighting in the area that we passed through the Ethiopian army detected, followed and ambushed us. Ogadentoday Press: When did you fall into the hands of the notorious Liyu Police militia? And how did they treat you? Martin Schibbye: On June 30, about 150 Ethiopian soldiers attacked and opened fire on us I got hit in the shoulder and Johan got hit in the arm. Then, I shouted: “Media! Media! International Press!” After we were arrested, we were not given medical care, a chance to contact our Embassy, or taken to a court but instead kept us in the desert for four days. It was the longest and the worst days that I have ever experienced in my life. The army started to make a mockumentary about what has happened and they brought in military journalists and gave us clean clothes. We were told to co-operate or we would be killed. To make us cooperate they arranged a mock execution. Driving us around to different locations to act like a Steven Spielbergy film. The film’s director was the vice-president, Abdullaahi Yuusuf Weerar, conversing with the regional president, Abdi Mohamoud Omar by phone. Ogadentoday Press: Were you imprisoned in one of Ogaden jails? Martin Schibbye: We spent a couple of nights at the police station in the regional prison of Jigjiga but then we were taken to Maekalawi prison in Addis Ababa. In the beginning, we thought that if we could prove that we were journalists we would go free, but the opposite happened. We were sentenced and charged as terrorists because of being journalists. They made an assessment. At one hand international criticism on the other hand to scare away both foreign journalists and the local ones. Meles Zenawi was on top of our case from day one and wanted to make an example. In detention we realized that we were not alone as all the cells from right to left where crowded with politicians and Journalists charged with terrorism. It was obvious that we were in the middle of crackdown because of Ethiopia’s anti-terrorism law restricted freedom of expression and used it as a tool to crackdown on dissidents. Ogadentoday Press: How do you describe Kality jail to people that have never been in it? Martin Schibbye: Its impossible. Its eight zones with 800-1000 prisoners in every zone. Basically its crowded like a music festival, but without beer, without music and with a lot of soldiers with guns. It was 200% overcrowded, hot, dusty, lack of water, full of rats and fleas and many people were very sick among them, people with HIV and tuberculosis infections. But the conditions were not as significant as the other inmates. What is concerning is not the condition but who they put in there: Journalists and political opposition figures. There was also something else in Kality. A friendship between prisoners. The first word I learned in Amharic was “nubla”, “come and eat”. We hade a lot of support from fellow prisoners. Ogadentoday Press: Ethiopia government regards jailed Journalists in Kality as terrorists, do you agree? Martin Schibbye: No, we have been accused of the same things, we had been to the same prison and had the same sentences-but that is where the parallel ends: Eskinder Nega, Woubshet Taye, and Reeyot Alemu and many others still there. Only me and Johan are free. All these young Ethiopian journalists faced a tough choice. They are intelligent, and well-educated .They could have chosen an easy life. They could have chosen another profession, but the love for the truth to their country for their human being made them journalists. They stayed and continued to write, and that decision brought them to Kality. With nine detained journalists left in Kality, Ethiopia today is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to imprisoning members of the press. Repression of the media has also made the country a world leader when it comes to running journalists out of the country. Ogadentoday Press: Do you believe that your book for “438 days” can expose both the plights of Ogaden people and Prisoners of conscience in Ethiopia? Martin Schibbye: Since our release I have often been asked if the attention helps the imprisoned or not. My answer is that it is far more important than food and water. When you’re locked up as a prisoner of conscience, the greatest fear is to be forgotten. The support from the outside is what keep you going and international coverage does provide a certain level of protection. Prison guards and administrators will think twice because they know the world is watching. But we should also be aware of that the arrest of me and Johan Persson made evident the damage to its reputation the Ethiopian government was willing to accept in its effort to silence independent reporters. One positive outcome of our book and a newly released documentaryfilm based on material smuggled out by Abdulahi Hussein (a former adviser to the state president Abdi Muhamud Omar and now a refugee in Sweden) is that The International Public Prosecutors Office in Sweden has decided to start an investigation of suspected war crimes against a number of identified politicians and military personel in the Ethiopian region of Ogaden. Pointed out are the regional president Abdi Muhamud Omar and the vice president Abdulahi Werer. I hope that the ones responsible for the terrible atrocities can be held accountable. As long as Ethiopia can commit crimes, jail journalists and get away with it, it is a cheap and easy way of censorship. To jail a journalist should be regarded as a crime against humanity. But in this regard, I don’t put my hopes to international pressure. For now, the jailed journalists are nothing more than “an irritant” in the diplomatic world. It’s business as usual. I put my hope in the young generation which I shared the concrete floor with in Kality. Despite, the daily propaganda on the Ethiopian state television, ETV, very few in Kality regards the jailed journalists as terrorists. I have an unquestioning faith in Ethiopia’s young people.

(EMF) ለረዥም አመታት የአማራው ክልል ፕሬዘደንት የነበሩት አቶ አያሌው ጎበዜ በትላንትናው እለት ከስልጣናቸው እንዲነሱ ተደርጓል። በሳቸውም ምትክ የብአዴን እና የክልሉ ምክትል ፕሬዘደንት የሆኑት አቶ ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው በምትካቸው ስልጣኑን ተረክበዋል። የኢህአዴግ ከፍተኛ ባለስልጣናት እንዳሉት ከሆነ፤ “የአሁኑ የስልጣን ሽግሽግ፤ የቀድሞዎቹን ባለስልጣናት በአዳዲስ ሰዎች የመተካት ስራ ነው” ብለዋል። ይህ አባባል ግን በብዙዎች ዘንድ እምብዛም ተቀባይነት ያገኘ አይመስልም። ሆኖም ሌሎች አስተያየት ሰጪዎች ለየት ያለ አስተያየት ይሰጣሉ። “አቶ አያሌው ጎበዜ ስልጣናቸውን የለቀቁት፤ ቀደም ሲል የማራ ክልል የነበረው እና አሁን የትግራይ ክልል የወሰደው ሰፊ እና ለም መሬት ለሱዳን መሰጠቱን በመቃወማቸው ነው” ይላሉ። ለዚህም እንደማስረጃ የሚያቀርቡት ከ3 ወራት በፊት፤ በመስከረም ወር ላይ በባህር ዳር ተደርጎ በነበረው የድንበር ጉዳዮች ውይይት ላይ፤ አቶ አያሌው ግልጽ በሆነ መንገድ የሃሳብ ልዩነት ማቅረባቸው እንደሆነ ይነገራል። በወቅቱ ከትግራይ ክልል ሰዎች ጠንካራ የሆነ ተቃውሞ ቀርቦባቸው ነበር። ስልጣናቸውን የለቀቁትም ለህዝብ ጥቅም ሲሉ እራሳቸውን አሳልፈው ለመስጠት ካላቸው ፍላጎት በመነሳት እንደሆነ፤ የራሳቸው ሰዎች ከሚሰጡት አስተያየት ለማወቅ ችለናል።

በተለይም ከቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ፤ በወልቃይት የሚገኙ የአማራ ተወላጅ ተማሪዎች፤ የትምህርት አሰጣጡን በመቃወም “በትግርኛ አንማርም” በማለታቸው ምክንያት ቁጥራቸው 3ሺህ የሚደርሱ አማሮች፤ “በትግርኛ ካልተማራቹህ ወደ አማራ ክልል መሄድ ትችላላቹህ።” ተብለው ክልሉን ለቀው እንዲወጡ በመባላቸው፤ እንዲሁም ለረዥም አመታት የአማራ ክልል ውስጥ የነበረው የራስ ዳሽን ተራራ ግርጌ የሚገኙ ቦታዎችን የትግራይ ሚሊሻዎች እየወሰዱት በመሆናቸው ከዚህ ጋር ተያይዞ በተነሳው ውዝግብ፤ በተጨማሪም የትግራይ እና የአማራ ክልል ባለስልጣናት በድንበር ጉዳይ የሚያነሱትን እልህ አስጨራሽ ድርጊት መሸከም ስላቃታቸው ስልጣናቸውን በፈቃዳቸው እንዲለቁ ግፊት የተደረገባቸው መሆኑን የቅርብ ምንጮች ይገልጻሉ። እንደዚህ አይነት አለመግባባት ሲፈጠር ሁለቱም ወገኖች ይፈሯቸው የነበሩት አቶ መለስ ዜናዊ ጣልቃ በመግባባት ለማግባባት ጥረት ያደርጉ እንደነበር የገለጹት ምንጮቻችን፤ አሁን ግን የትግራይ ባለስልጣናት በማን አለብኝነት ክልሉ ማድረግ የሚገባውን ለማዘዝ እንደሚሞክሩ ተገልጿል። በአገር ውስጥ ክልሎች በድንበር ጉዳይ ሲወዛገቡ፤ በህገ መንግስቱ መሰረት ጉዳዩን የሚመለከተው የፌዴሬሽን ምክር ቤት ነው። የፌዴሬሽን ምክር ቤቱ ደግሞ ቀደም ሲል በአባይ ጸሃዬ አሁን ደግሞ በካሳ ተክለ ብርሃን (ሁለቱም የህወሃት አባላት ናቸው) የሚመራ መሆኑ፤ በአማራ እና በትግራይ መካከል የሚነሱ የድንበር ጉዳዮችን በአድሏዊነት ፍርድ ሲሰጡ ቆይተዋል። አሁን ግን አለመግባባቱ ግን ግልጽ እየሆነ መጥቶ የአማራ ክልል ፕሬዘደንት ስልጣናቸውን እንዲለቁ አድርጓቸዋል። ይህ የሰሜን ኢትዮጵያ ክልል በኢትዮጵያ ታሪክ ውስጥ በዋግ ሹሞች፣ በራስ እና በንጉሥ ይተዳደር የነበረ ቦታ ነው። ከሸዋ ጀምሮ እስከ ላስታ፣ ወሎ፣ አንጎት፣ ደምብያ፣ ጎጃም፣ ጎንደር እና በጌምድር በአማራ ክልል ውስጥ የሚገኙ ናቸው። አሁንም ሆነ ወደፊት አወዛጋቢ የሆኑት የሰሜን ወሎ እና የበጌምድር ክፍለ ግዛቶች ግን፤ በግድ ወደ ትግራይ ክልል ተወስደዋል። ከነዚህ ውስጥ ደግሞ የበጌምድርን ምዕራባዊ ክፍል፤ የትግራይ ባለስልጣናት ለሱዳን ለመስጠት የሚያደርጉት ድርድር ብዙዎችን ቅር ማሰኘቱ አልቀረም። አሁን ስልጣናቸውን የለቀቁት አቶ አያሌው ጎበዜም በዚህ ቅሬታ ውስጥ እንዳሉ፤ ስልጣናቸውን የለቀቁ መሆናቸው በሰፊው ይነገራል። አቶ አያሌው ጎበዜ በትጥቅ ትግል ውስጥ የነበሩ፤ ከነታምራት ላይኔ፣ አዲሱ ለገሰ፣ ተፈራ ዋልዋ፣ ህላዌ ዮሴፍ ጋር ሆነው በኢህዴን ውስጥ ያገለገሉ ሰው ናቸው። አዲሱ ለገሰ የክልሉ ፕሬዘደንት በነበረበት ወቅት፤ አቶ አያሌው ጎበዜ ደግሞ የክልሉ ከፍተኛ ተጠሪ ሆነው እንደአውሮፓውያን አቆጣጠር እስከ 2008 ድረስ አገልግለዋል። ከ2008 ጀምሮ አሁን ስልጣናቸውን እስከለቀቁበት ጊዜ ድረስ ደግሞ የክልሉ ፕሬዘደንት ነበሩ። እስከቅርብ ጊዜ ድረስ ከሚያደርጉት እንቅስቃሴ አንጻር፤ ስልጣናቸውን የመልቀቅ ምንም ምልክት እንዳልነበረና በመስከረም ወር በኢትዮጵያ እና በሱዳን መካከል ከተደረገው ስብሰባ በኋላ፤ በተለይም ከትግራይ ባለስልጣናት ጋር ልዩነት ውስጥ መግባታቸው በሰፊው ይነገራል። አዲሱ የአማራ ክልል ፕሬዘዳንት የሆኑት አቶ ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው፤ በሰሜን ወሎ ዳውንት ወረዳ ተወለደው ያደጉ ሲሆን፤ ምክትል ፕሬዘዳንት በነበሩበት ወቅት በዘመድ አዝማድ እንደሚሰሩ በሰፊው ይታማሉ። ለምሳሌ እሳቸው በተወለዱበት ስፍራ ከቀበሌ ጀምሮ እስከወረዳ ድረስ ከፍተኛ ባለስልጣን ናቸው። የዳውንት ወረዳ አቃቤ ህግ አቶ ጥላዬ ወንድምነህ፣ የአቅም ግንባታ ሃላፊ አቶ ጌትዬ ወርቁ ሁለቱም የአቶ ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው የ እህት ልጆች ናቸው። የፍትህ ጽ/ቤት ሃላፊዋ ወ/ሮ በላይነሽ ጥላዬ የአጎት ልጅ ናት። የሰሜን ወሎ አስተዳደር አፈ ጉባዔ አቶ አጥናፉ፣ የውሃ ልማት ሃላፊ አቶ ብርሃኑ ደምሴ ሌሎች ቤተሰቦች ናቸው። አቶ ድጉ አንዳርጋቸው ምክትል ፕሬዘዳንት ተብለው ወደ ባህር ዳር ሲሄዱ የአክስታቸውን ልጅ አቶ ጸጋ አራጌን በስፍራው ሾመው ነበር የሄዱት። አቶ ጸጋ አራጌ ለትምህርት ሲላክ ቦታውን፤ ማለትም የዳውንት ወረዳ አስተዳዳሪ የሆኑትነትን ለአቶ ዣንጥራር የአቶ ገዱ የወንድም ልጅ ሰጥተው ነበር የሄዱት። የወረዳው የጸጥታ ዘርፍ ሃላፊው የአቶ ዣንጥራር ወንድም ናቸው። እንዲህ ያለው የርስ በርስ መጠቃቀም ወይም በስልጣን የመጠቀም ነገር ዝርዝሩ በዛ ያለ ነው። ለአሁኑ ስለአዲሱ ፕሬዘዳንት ማለት የሚቻለው ግን ይህን ያህል ነው። Source-http://ethioforum.org/
